This is the first review for this site!
We will start off out with Fallout 4. This game is the fifth installment in the Fallout series. The game was released on November 10, 2015 worldwide. Fallout 4 takes place 10 years after the events of Fallout 3 and 210 years after "The Great War".
Im not going to spoil the game for you all the way but I will give you a basic background to the intro.
Once you start a new game, you will be taken to a create your character cut scene to obviously create your player. After you accept your character, you will wander off into the front room where Codsworth, your robotic butler basically, is in the kitchen babbling off. Then your son, Shaun, starts crying and Codsworth hovers off to take care of him. You can either wonder around the house and explore the place. After a while, your door bell rings and a mysterious man with a clipboard is at your door. He will ask you some questions about the new Vault 111 and to tell you that you qualify to secure a spot there. This is where you are able to make your Endurance, Luck, Strength (ect) skills to your liking. Once you accept this he will take off and Codsworth comes back in the front room to say that Shaun isnt calming down and may need some human interaction. So you go into Shauns room to calm him down. Then, Codsworth demands you all go to the front room to watch whats going on the news.
On the television, a reporter is sounding very alarmed with the reports of flashes not to far from them, then the news cuts out and the air sirens start blaring. The intercom outside demands everyone go to their nearest vault for safety. Once you reach the top of the hill, a Vault Tec security official will tell you to stand in the middle of the floor. This is where you will see a big flash and see the nuclear explosion heading your way. In the nic of time, you and your husband/wife (depending on your gender at the start of the game) and son, make it down into the vault. You both get your suits and are walked into this cryogenic room. You both get into a pod. Your spouse has Shaun with them in there. You all get frozen and the screen goes black.
Not going to spoil what happens next, thats up to you to find out.
My review on the game is 8.5/10
Pros: Fantastic graphics
Great story line
Many fractions to join
Your choice in the fractions can decide the fate of another.
New games to go down a different path
Cons: Fat Mans in the beginning get annoying
I would totally recommend this game if you love exploring, fighting, like rpg based games, and have plenty of time to put into a game. Im currently working on starting a second character to go down a different path.
